AutoCAD 2005 Sheet Set Manager:

Changing Properties of a Sheet Set

Author: Alireza Parsai

The SSM uses the properties of the sheet set to define new sheets, insert callout blocks, etc. You may also use the custom sheet set properties to enhance a sheet list table. We will explain how to create sheet list tables in the second part of this article on the next issue of Augiworld. Some properties are as follows:

Name: The name of the sheet set

Sheet Set Data File: The DST file path

Description: Optional information about the sheet set

Resource Drawing Location(s): The folders that you keep resource drawings in. Resource drawings are used to create views in new or existing sheets.

Label Block for Views: The block that describes inserted views in more detail. For example it shows the viewport scale or the view name. You may use a drawing or a block in a drawing as a view block.

Callout Blocks: Block or blocks used for calling another sheet from the current sheet. You may use a drawing or a block in a drawing as a callout block.

Sheet Storage Location: The default location to save new sheets created with SSM.

Sheet Creation Template: The template file that is used to define new sheets. Such a template file should contain a properly setup layout.

The following tutorial demonstrates how to change the properties of a sheet set.
