AutoCAD 2005 Sheet Set Manager:

Defining New Sheets

Author: Alireza Parsai

You may add new sheets to the current sheet set. The SSM will first create a new drawing and then creates a layout based on the template that you have defined in the sheet set properties.  You may later open the sheet and add some views or a sheet set table to it. The following tutorial demonstrates how to define and open a new sheet.

Notes:

►  Click here for the table of contents.

This tutorial is designed for AutoCAD 2005.

In this tutorial user entries are in boldface.

The ¿  symbol represents pressing Enter.

► Make sure to download the "scarborough_project.zip" file. Unzip the file to C:\.

1. Right-click the Elevations subset. From the shortcut menu select New Sheet. The New Sheet dialog box will appear. Fill out the dialog box as shown in the following figure. Click Ok. The new sheet will appear on the sheet list.

2. Add two more new sheets. One beneath the Elevations subset named E2-Left Elevation and the other one under Sheet List Table subset named T1-Main Table. Double click the E1-Front Elevation. The drawing file and related layout will open.
