AutoCAD 2005 Sheet Set Manager:Defining SubsetsAuthor: Alireza Parsai
It is a good idea to categorize a sheet set into some subsets. This is necessary especially when you are dealing with long lists of sheets. Here is an example.
Notes: ► Click here for the table of contents. ► This tutorial is designed for AutoCAD 2005. ► In this tutorial user entries are in boldface. ► The ¿ symbol represents pressing Enter. ► Make sure to download the "scarborough_project.zip" file. Unzip the file to C:\.
1. Right-click on the "Scarborough Project" title on the sheet list. A shortcut menu will appear. Select New Subset. In the Subset Properties dialog box type "Sheet List Table" for the subset name. Click OK.
2. Create two other subsets called Plans and Elevations respectively. Drag all of existing sheets to the Plans subset.
In the preceding tutorial you should drag the first sheet on top of the subset to place it under the subset category. The rest of sheets must be dragged one by one beneath the first sheet.
