AutoCAD 2005 Sheet Set Manager:Publishing a Sheet SetAuthor: Alireza Parsai
The PUBLISH command is embedded in the SSM dialog box. So you can publish or plot all or selected sheets at the same time. Let's create a sheet selection set and publish them to a multi sheet DWF file.
Notes: ► Click here for the table of contents. ► This tutorial is designed for AutoCAD 2005. ► In this tutorial user entries are in boldface. ► The ¿ symbol represents pressing Enter. ► Make sure to download the "scarborough_project.zip" file. Unzip the file to C:\.
1. On the SSM dialog box select the Sheet List tab. Click the "P1 – Architectural Plan" sheet. While pressing Shift, click the "P6 – Power Plan" sheet. A list of six sheets is selected. On the upper right corner of the SSM dialog box click the Sheet Selections button. Click Create. In the New Sheets Selection dialog box, type Plans Only. Click OK. Select any sheet from the list. Click the Sheet Selections button again. From the menu select Plans Only. All plan sheets are highlighted.
2. Click the Publish to DWF button (the first button to the left). On the "Select DWF File" dialog box, specify a name and location for the DWF file. Click Select to publish the selected drawings to the specified file. You may later open the file with Autodesk DWF Viewer or Autodesk DWF Composer.
